Labor Day Linkage!

It's back to school, and either you have no homework yet, or you're a freshman who has yet to make new friends. Either way, you have got some time on your hands this weekend! So a few of us webcomic people have decided to link you with THREE of our favorite comics that for some reason or another we have neglected to link to in the past. Here are mine.

The Non-Adventures of Wonderella
is pretty much a comic about Wonder Woman acting like a d**k. I think if you like Dr. McNinja for all the super hero parodying that happens, then you'll definitely like Wonderella.

Chainsawsuit is one of Kris Straub's MANY funny webcomics. When Kris isn't doing sci fi or music comics, he's really good at just... making fun of everything.

Gastrophobia
is the comic that you are going to keep seeing linked from everybody, because we've all been waiting a long time for David McGuire's next webcomic, and it's finally here. I know a lot of people who are good cartoonists, and a lot of people who are funny cartoonists, but David is a brilliant cartoonist.

Original Artwork for Sale

Do you want to own a piece of Dr. McNinja? Now with eBay, YOU CAN! Currently, we've got up the page where Dr. McNinja jumps off the moon with Draculabot, and the one where he surfs him into town.

About a year ago, I stopped selling the original artwork created by Kent and I to make the comic. Now, we've decided to give a shot at selling a couple of the better ones through eBay. These sales will be done a couple times a year, and it's the only way you can get original artwork from the comic (other than making a crazy high priced offer that I can't refuse.)

Now in Color

The Adventures of Dr. McNinja is extremely proud and excited to announce the addition of a new member to the McNinja team, Carly Monardo. From now on, Dr. McNinja shall appear in glorious color, thanks to Carly's keen eye and skilled hand.

Carly has a history of color expertise, handling the color for such TV shows as Supernormal and Venture Brothers. She also probably knows more than anyone about the colors of Dr. McNinja, having painted both our poster and the cover to Surgical Strike.

Adding color to our comic was a decision I didn't take lightly. Kent, Carly and I work very closely together, and we all understand the relationship that has to happen between line art and colors for a great looking color comic to happen. Mostly though, we're just excited to draw some crazy looking explosions.

A little bit about Doc Hastings. (me.)

Hey guys, if you don't follow Overcompensating, you have missed several of my completely true adventures. It's good stuff. And I cannot stress enough, COMPLETELY TRUE. Sometimes J.Ro will spice up the truth a little bit, but not in this one. And right now, at this very second... I am smoke roasting a whole hog at his house. Later this evening, I will crowned Pit Master. There can be only one.

Secondly, I just did an interview for Fourth Panel Estate! Good stuff!
